What is the "Skills for Success" program?
"Skills for Success" is a new program that will help newcomers and people with diverse abilities in Sault Ste. Marie. The “Skills for Success” program, supported by the Governments of Ontario and Canada, will provide small group instruction on the key skills that people need to secure and maintain employment in our community.

How will instruction be like?
We cater to your needs! Participants can choose to attend:
- small group workshops
- 1-on-1 tutoring
- online learning
Once instruction is completed, participants will be eligible to take part in two job placements with local employers and will have job coaching during the program.
Are you eligible?
You may be eligible if you are:
- 19+
- Not in school
- Have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Have enough skills to speak and understand English well
- Have a Work Permit
