Two hours a week, one learner. We train you, match you, and support you through your first sessions.

Greeting visitors, answering phones, organization, help with mailings, fundraising, web development – we welcome any support you can offer.

We operate as a small not-for‑profit governed by a working board. Seats are open for folks in finance, HR, fundraising, education, or those with strong community ties.
Schedule a 30‑minute chat with our Volunteer Coordinator to discuss your interests, schedule, and areas of expertise.
Attend four weekly evening sessions covering adult learning principles, our methods, and the expectations of the position.
We pair you with a learner whose goals and availability fit your expertise. You will be supported onsite by staff who are able to help you adjust and adapt as you learn and grow alongside your learners.
Our work runs on volunteers: tutors, board members, occasional helpers, and community partners. We welcome the opportunity to connect with you to see how your skills and interests can help us better serve our learners!
